[edit] About Loot Stats
The chance to get the loots on the stats are wrong, I mean, the formula is wrong.
A probability of an event(loot something when killing a creature) is represented by a real number in the range from 0 to 1.
So there is no chance to get more than 100%. And if you can get an empty body so the chance to get something could not reach 100%.
Let's take an example using gold coins:
You kill 200 Rotworms and loot gold coins as below:
30 with no gold coin
25 with 1 gold coin
35 with 5 gold coin
50 with 10 gold coin
40 with 12 gold coin
15 with 15 gold coin
5 with 20 gold coin
You looted a total of 1.505 gold coins.
RK = Number of rotworms killed
RG = Number of rotworms corpses with gold coin (1 or more)
Chance to get 1 or more coins killing rotworms:
= 85%
did you get my point? Stradvarius
T C 18:05, September 18, 2009 (UTC)
- That's just how many rotworms with gold in them giving no indication as to how much gold per corpse - or even, how much gold per hundred (as is now). It's perfectly reasonable to have greater than 100% and your method would probably result in rats dropping more gold than rotworms. If you can give any logical reason for not gaving >100% or than you don't like it please help us. Also an event mostly represents and qualitative set of data; You're method says if it will rain - ours says the average rainfall likely.

Thanks for your feedback on the loot stats, I think you said the same about the tibiaml loot stats here? Anyways, in one way you are of course right (what you say applies to all stackable items). When making our loot stat system we have considered different options, have every drop apart or sum up stackable ones, see image for difference:

Actually, what you say is a third way, for the record, these are the options I think:
- Show whether or not it is dropped (boolean)
- Show if 1 gold is dropped, if 2 gold is dropped etc.
- Stack up all gold and get more than 100%
Changing the current system is of course possible and can be discussed. I would use as an argument you can compare 2 creatures' gold drops if the first one is 5000% and the second 7000% but this can be done with average gold drop too (so this argument is not very strong). I need to think about it a bit longer before I know what I prefer. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 18:46, September 18, 2009 (UTC)
Yes I said the same on tibiaml. I'm trying to fix it wherever I see it :P. If you stack all gold coins, please, think about to sum all items to get the percentage. I mean, getting Terror Bid Loot stats as example, you would calculate the percentage as 89.45% (247/276) 276 would be the sum of all items stackable or not, empty corpses should not count.Stradvarius
T C 19:03, September 18, 2009 (UTC)
- We can't just ignore empty corpses - it's not statically feasible and would murder the average the way it's done at the moment. 6.5 Gold average is 650 Gold per 100 Terror Birds - to me there's not that needs to be fixed and any method beyond that is completely redundant and more than the wiki users need.

[edit] vandal Abuse.Temahk
User Abuse.Temahk was created to swear temahk as the name says. Also, I just rolled back his edit where he copyed a message from Temahk and added swears in end. Maguu 12:31, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
I'm behind a modem with some kind of porn/swear filter so I can't view this revision. I trust you the edits are bad. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 12:47, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Secret Service Quest: CGB
Nice job on adding Building Plans for a Ship, but you still need to add Suspicious Documents (Mission 5: No Admittance) and possibly Book (CGB) (Mission 6: News from the past). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cykotitan (talk • contribs). Remember to sign your comments!
Thanks, I will certainly do that, when I get to those missions. I need the name, image, weight, flavortext etc. to make an accurate page, so when I do the quest the info is added. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 22:33, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
I can only tell you that Suspicious Documents look the same as a Note and an Old Piece of Paper. On the other hand, Book (CGB) looks the same as a Big Blue Demona Book, Songs of the Forest and an Atlas.
Regarding weight, I think they have the same weight as the items they look like. I also think they have no flavortext. Still, nothing should be created until this all is confirmed.

[edit] Vandaliser Fodanga
Hi, I would like to report a vandal called Frodanga.
I've already undone 2 of his edits (see Revision history of "Nerana" and Revision history of "Torn Book").
He has also created a pointless spam article, Alucard Nosferatun.

I was away this weekend, luckily another admin took care of it, thanks for reporting though. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 20:02, November 22, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Moving images
Can you explain me how to change name of image? I wanna change Legionnaire Trophy.gif to Lizard Trophy.gif and then create page for this item but don't know exactly how to make it.
Tazi 23:49, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
I would go to File:Legionnaire Trophy.gif, then click on move (if you don't see it, it is probably for administrators only) and type File:Lizard_Trophy.gif as the destined file name. Creating a page can be done by typing Lizard Trophy in the search window/area, or type in your internet adress bar http://tibia.wikia.com/wiki/Lizard_Trophy, a blank page will appear with a link to create the article. If you need more help, feel free to ask. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 23:54, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
I know how to create pages. Only didn't know how to move image cause i dont have 'move' like on the other pages. Seems it's only for administrators. Can you make it?

[edit] Unregistered Vandaliser
Hello, I just wanted to report a vandaliser (201.11.222.28). I've marked all of his contributions for deletion.
Cykotitan 01:44, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Another vandaliser, this time the IP is 189.32.75.138.
Cykotitan 03:57, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
False pages have been deleted, but it is not usually advisable to block IPs, although it should be reconsidered if more serious vandalism is done from one IP.
--DM ><((°> Contribs <°))>< talk to me 07:25, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
They should have to register to make edits, so that other users are able to help them and explain what they should and shouldn't do on tibiawiki. I thought that they had to before, guess it's changed a bit now. beejay 01:14, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
I too though, unregistered people could only add categories, not edit any article whatsoever. I'll try to edit unregistered in a sec. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 10:50, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Users self-confirmed
please make me a Users self-confirmed.
if necessary see my contribution here
and portal tibia wiki here
I would like to put images in articles.
--Sano 00:54, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Hello, I'm sorry to say but I can't make you auto-confirmed (if that's what you wanted). You will have to make at least 10 edits and wait 4 days (or 3 days, not really sure). This is done automatically by the system (mediawiki software). If the images (or other things you want to add but can't right now) are very important, upload it on tibiapic and give me the link, explain how you want to add it and I can do it for you. Otherwise, wait your days and make your 10 edits. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 10:56, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Ah! ok thanks hehe i wait the 10 days

[edit] Warmaster Outfit Images
Hello, i Have a question for you. I saw that you changed my pics of Warmaster Outfit that I Uploaded, how you made this chenges? How they can mowe on themselves now? Do you use a certainly program or what? I wanna know that for the future, I wanna be an exerienced user too :) Thanks. Popmanlikes10 17:26, December 11, 2009 (UTC)
Hello, thanks for asking. The images can move now, because they are animated. I made 4 screenshots (for every image), one facing south, one facing east, one facing north and one facing west. I combined those 4 images into one animated gif image which does nothing else but showing those 4 images after each other with 0,5 seconds between them. I used the free program Gimp to do this, but it can be done with a lot of other programs e.g. Adobe Photoshop.
If you want to try this yourself you probably need some extra help, Help:Screenshot Guide provides some help, or ask me whenever you want :) Also note it takes quite a loooooot of time.
