FANDOM

Since it was introduced in 1997, Tibia has undergone several changes. Each of these updates brings improvements to the game, such as better graphics, new Items, new Creatures , and new or changed abilities.

Why do some of the updates listed not have version numbers? According to CipSoft GmbH Customer Service, version numbers are only given if the client is changed and a new client download is required. Any updates that can be done at the server alone do not get version numbers.

Server Updates

CipSoft is updating their servers constantly. When server updates are applied, they usually do not require a new client version. Most bug fixes count as server updates; anything to do with maps, NPCs, quests, and creatures usually only require a server update. These updates are usually applied at server save. The following is not a complete list by any means, because most server updates go unannounced.
