--Rathgard 22:35, 6 July 2007 (PDT)O, oops confusing this Poison Arrow vs. Poisoned Arrow didn't even notice it at first glance, if there a better way to label it like "conjure poison arrow"--DM 19:58, 29 May 2005 (EDT)
well...but in Tibia Library, the Official name is Poisoned Arrow, we did a exeption with the Spell Power Bolt and named it Conjure Power Bolt... --Lord de los Druidas 20:16, 29 May 2005 (EDT)
I deleted the word "useless", because Psn arrows aren't. I still see some pallys using them. (Kaito Yamaro 14:11, 22 July 2006 (PDT))
"less damage than a normal arrow" is that confirmed?
I just tested poison arrows against scarabs, nomads and larva. Damaged all of them... poisoned none of them.
The damage to the nomad popped-up in red (like you hit it with a melee weapon), and the damage to the scarab/larva popped-up in green (like you hit it with a melee weapon).
My conclusion is that the arrows do NOT poison the target, and they cause physical damage.
I do not have enough info to compare them to regular arrows, so I don't know if they are stronger or weaker.

In the past when I had an paladin, poison arrows used to be "poisonous". They damage is normal, but they leave the target poisoned (like 2dmg/turn something like that)
But that was a long time ago, I can't tell if this changed. Since Nomads don't have immunity to poison I think they're "not poisonous anymore".. (strange)
yeh they used to deal 1 hp per turn

well, actually the poison arrow DOES poison the target and it also hits with physical damage, the reason larvas and scarabs weren't poisoned is because they are immune to all poisons. I recently after the update used a poison arrow on a rotworm and after i hit it it started to get poison damage every turn without me attacking it. bowogon 20:23, 6 July 2007 (PDT)
Who put the 20 atk stat, and how can you be positive?
probly not positive... but maybe thats what the atack is, i personaly dont use poison arrows

Thanks for correcting me, bowogon... I was starting to wonder why CIP called them poisoned arrows. I must have just killed the nomads too quickly to see the poison effect.
About the attack value... I don't know where he got the number, but it was added by Kwigon the Sharpshooter almost a year ago. I vaguely remember something about in the past, ammunition used to tell you the attack value when you looked at it, but that is only a vague recollection. Anybody else have more information?

Poison damage update
I'm not sure when the poison damage settings of these arrows were changed. I did some testing with a low level paladin and updated the page accordingly. My testing showed that the poison damage did always start at 3 HP per turn and the duration was always the same: 3 HP 4 turns, 2 HP 9 turns, 1 HP 19 turns. It would be nice if someone could double check this though. Fuchsi 15:44, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
