Minotaurs certainly did at one time drop these. They no longer drop them on Rookgaard. Satax, are you saying lately (in last week/month) you have looted one from a minotaur? I have heard varying things and i am not sure anymore.

Just notice that when I train on minotaur on rook it takes me around 10 mnutes to kill one, but some times it takes me 25 minutes cause I hit them less and when they die they always carring a chain armor, this has hapened to me to the point I can tell before killing them if they will drop chain armor (chain armor not inside bag) so chain armor adds up to the monster defence, so do other monsters use armors? A nightmare that carry boh will walk faster a DL with DSM in his loot will e harder to kill?

That is correct. All mosters have similar armor slots and wear the items. It has been proven that the monsters loot is determined when it spawns and wears the items it drops. I have seen monsters glow with the light turned down when they are carrying an item that emits a light.

Proven by who? Where? And which monsters did you test? Should be easy to test if this is true with Life Crystals. -- Sixorish 09:26, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

Provem by Karimmar Chael. It was a few years ago. a Dragon was glowing blue and looted from it was a Life Crystal.

I also recall years ago on rook, farming minos and noticing with low level skills it would take a very long time to kill some minos and you were able to tell if it was going to drop a chain armor. Im confirming Kwigon's theory.

I believe creatures are given light radius/colors in the dat file and it doesn't have to do with anything on the server. Also if it was the case that creatures have varying armor, you would easily find that using e.g. Closed Traps on creatures to have highly variant damage ranges between creatures. That isn't so... I've used traps to test the armor values of many creatures and it always seems fixed for different monsters with the same name. -- Sixorish 13:46, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

This used to be the case a few years ago but that was before bags were removed from creature loot back at Summer Update 2010. See more here. Beejay 14:18, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

Wow, that's a nice find! Thanks. -- Sixorish 14:24, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

How can you find such a thing? There is no search feature in the tibia forums and you can't see a lit of posts by certain characters as well. Google search doesn't seem to work either. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 15:56, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

I vaguely remember reading about the change so I looked through Updates to find the one when bags were removed. Beejay 16:55, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

Greenshore spikes deal different amounts of damage to orcs, the variation is small and seems to be based on a fixed armor value for each type of orc also seems to be the same either the orcs drop items with armor value or not. --Daniel Letalis 18:28, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

Traps could also simply ignore armor and just cause a fixed amount of damage.
