Outdated[]

I think this page is slightly outdated as knights are nowadays good damage dealers and therefore more than simple blockers. --SirBlackrock 09:53, 5 November 2007 (PST)

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't see anything on this page that describes knights as simple blockers.

Since this is a wiki, you are welcome (and encouraged) to improve the article at any time.

Being retarded about all things computer related, I don't have the skills to add Antidote to the list, but could someone do it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Posiaden (talkcontribs). Remember to sign your comments!

The spells list is dynamically generated based on certain criteria. In this case, it is only listing spells that have "Knight" in the vocation parameter... the antidote spell said "All vocations", which does not include the word "Knight"...

I changed the antidote spell page to list all vocations, and that fixed it.

Possible Hotkey Assignments[]

I can add this hotkeys in the table?

Hotkey = (6,"",268,0,2)
Hotkey = (7,"",236,0,2)

I think it would be really cool if there was a guide made specifically for each vocation on how to lvl up, where to hunt, recommended skills per level, equipment, and stuff, it would be a great help for players who are new to the game and still dont know wich skills they should have, or wich equipment to buy etc.

Spells table errors[]

Theres something wrong with this page I cant see the knight instan spells.

The last edit by User:SonGohan (basically, copy/pasting template source) made the DPL match only strings of "<noinclude>This template inserts "</noinclude>|<noinclude>" to the page, which is used when it would usually break some parser functions/wikitables. (...)". I reapplied the templates and they should work again. Is it correct, though? I'm unsure if that's all a knight can learn. -- Sixorish 07:02, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

(actually, I think it matches <noinclude>This template inserts "</noinclude> - because the "|" isn't escaped (and can't be - the whole point of {{!}}) -- Sixorish 07:15, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

It can be escaped with a backslash in php, if it's a REG expression. I wonder if the wiki program language works on php (read: translates the commands to php and let the server handle them as php). ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 15:12, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

It does run PHP, but the technical reason behind it is that the | will be recognized by the wikitext and assume another parameter, and the DPL will either search for something too small for practical use, or have syntax errors, the latter is especially the case since the forward slashes at the end are a requisite (at least when it's at the front), and no string will be matched unless it contains some horrible combination of characters. (like: /| voc = ... note the /). You could experiment by replacing the {{!}} with | in a preview, they won't work. -- Sixorish 07:20, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Really?[]

"Hunt with plenty of Health Potions. This is generally in-expensive and will save your life, recommended 1 bp for each 10 lvls (for example, a lvl 33 knight should carry 3 bps of health potions)."

Are you saying 2k pots on a level 10's hunt? Really? Or is it pre-update bps? ~Hakinu (talk | contribs) 06:58, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

The page hadn't been updated and it meant if your character was level 10, take 20 potions with you to hunt, if it was level 20 take 40 potions to hunt (20 potions:10 levels). It's a guide on how many health potions to bring on a hunt with you, I have also rewrote that part. Beejay 09:45, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Updates for Protection zones[]

In the last yers in Tibia where added some features for logging in every day that gives you double regeneration for mana and hit points for premy acc. I think in those pages (vocation pages, regeneration,...) should be mentioned this.

Zvezdiica (talk) 20:33, March 10, 2018 (UTC)

Is this a distinct feature which differs per vocation? For example, is this different for knights than it is for druids? I think the 4 vocation pages Knight, Paladin, Druid and Sorcerer should only mention things which are specific for said vocation. Not things which are the same for all of them. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 14:16, March 11, 2018 (UTC)

Maybe you are wright about this, but in the section Advansing your skill Magic level is written:

  • Spend as little time as possible in Protection Zones. You cannot use mana that you do not generate, so spend as little time as possible in situations where you do not regenerate mana.

And that is not always real anymore. If you have gain mana regeneration you don't need to avoid, or better if you have double regeneration is better to stay in.

Zvezdiica (talk) 17:05, March 11, 2018 (UTC)

Ok, I see your point. Maybe that part has to be rewritten. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 18:06, March 11, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for your report, Zvezdiica. I've added a few sentences on the effects of daily reward bonuses.
