Shouldn't this page be deleted? I think this is a nonsense page, this creature seems a little to strong and I haven't heared anyone seeying it.

Ron is right, I changed the loot to 0-4 fish, today looted 4 fishes in 1 Kerinio
Can some one link the place they spawn to tibia news map? Are they a raid monster, they are deep in mines? Cause I dont know anyone who has see them and I have maped all ground level in svargrond and never saw one, just weird nobody knows where they are.

I've encountered this once on Tyrsung, north from Buddel. But I think that this could be somewhat a special spawn which could spawn every where there is penguins. Razakin 22:22, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
There aren't dire penguins in Tyrsung.

I checked the monster killing in tibia.com and notice they are killed 0 to 6 times per week in each world so this monster is like a rare single respawn somewhere, like some kind of penguin boss. So should it be listed like a boss? cause he could be the boss of penguins since he don't spawn every day and hes strong like a hunter. And if any of you can ask arround to find out where they spawn I want to see one.

They're most often found at the level of the glacier thats 4 levels up from the ice field. At least thats where I always find them. They seem to be a rare spawning monster, not a boss. Similar to for example the orc in the orc fort that drops Sams backpack.

I found Dire Penguin in tyrsung too, north from Budel... Take a look on the ss:

The respawn of dire penguin in Tyrsung probaly was added in last Update.

I found one today near the barb camps (where u throw loot to svargrond) I thought it would be somewhat better but killed pretty easy...

The dire penguin isn't in Tibia's official list of creatures. That, along with the fact that it is a rare spawn leads me to believe that it's a boss. Does anybody see a reason why it shouldn't be considered so?

Quara Scouts are not in the official list either yet they are no bosses and they do not seem so rare I have seen quite a few of them.

When Svargrond was implemented i found like 20 of them somewhere on the mountain east of yalahar didn't knew that they were sth special thought its a normal spawn~
