Hiya. I have edited the page 'cause beholders in BK villa can be killed even if you're not level 50. Matter of fact there are only two beholders past the Gate of Expertise.

Force Strike?[]

I never saw Beholder performing Force Strike attack. I mean, they shot SD-like bullet, but do they cast a spell similar to Force strike (one field in front of beholder)?

Ethnar

They do, but I don't think they do it much.

The only way to confirm this, is if they do a force-strike and miss. If they hit you, then it would look exactly the same as their "sd" attack, but you just happen to be standing directly in front of them. I have never seen this, but if there is someone who can confirm it, please post here.  Nullo metro compositum est.

I've seen beholders who did force strikes and did miss, but they only do it when you're standing right next to them, and the attack is kind of rare...

Excellent! That's exactly what we were trying to figure out!  Nullo metro compositum est.

I never saw a Beholder use Soulfire...
Soulfire makes you burn and I never got burned after meeting beholders...

Actualy it's fire based hmm-like atack - deals damage by fire but dont cause yoou to burn- similar to necromancers' poison shoot.

On the loot section it ways that beholders can drop upto 60gp, but on my loot chart, with nearly 900 entries, I checked through twice and the highest I found was 46, is the max gold loot definitly 60?

I've gotten 54, can assume they drop as much as 60.

update[]

"Sorcerers of level 18 or higher may find Fire Wave and/or Flame Strike in combination with Fireball or Great Fireball runes an effective way to hunt beholders, due to their weakness to Fire Damage."

this is not longer posible due to the level requirement of the fireball and GFB, it need to be changed and updated

Ok this one IS protected XD, can some one put that beholders are 100% immune to life drain.
