Notes:

Upgrading from a Dragon Hammer to a Skull Staff will nearly enable you to carry two additional backpacks full of runes.

In the past the Skull Staff was the weapon of choice for mages and for club users as it was not only light but it was the best available one handed club weapon, before the 2007 summer update and the introduction of the Arena quests.
