After reaching level 25, paladins use them to hunt better monsters, because they have 10 more attack points; however, they are also heavier and more expensive than regular spears. Premium Account players can buy bigger amounts in a shop, and sell for a higher price to free account paladins.
It was once believed that they had the same chance of breaking as spears, but recent tests have shown that they have a 2% chance of breaking while normal spears have a 3% chance.
The range that the spears can be thrown from was reduced after the Christmas 2007 update; from 4 squares tiles to 3 squares tiles away. |
