It is an Archdemon and also a member of the Triangle of Terror. You can use Blessed Wooden Stake on the summoned demon's corpses in order to get Demon Dust.

He was first killed on Aldora and Titania, Sept 6th 2006.
When it appears all players on the world receive 3 messages that are broadcasted in white text, just like when Orshabaal appears or when a raid happens.

| Strategy: |
Don't try to go near him unless your level is high (100+ recommended). To block it a knight needs around 3.000 hitpoints (at least level 190+) and as many stone skin amulets and might rings as possible . Preferably, have at least 15 shoters or more. Shoters should all wait in the same square upstairs while the knight lures Morgaroth to the left or right side of the stairs (to avoid demons from south). Then, all shoters should go down in the same square (to be able to go up fast in case of retarget) while mages shoot Icicles or Avalanches, paladins preferably shoot Shiver Arrows and Holy Missile Runes (only if you have a bow with a range of 6+ sqms), or use power bolts if you don't have the apropriate bow.
After Update 8.1 the Boss became strong against Death Damage making SDs a bad option. Also, since it is strong against Physical Damage melee weapons like Assassin Stars or Bolt's should be the second option only.
The Knight will need constantly heal, at least 3 to 6 druids casting straight Exura Sios, and sorcerers can help healing with Ultimate Healing Runes. Druids can use Trees and other vocations Magic Walls around the Knight to Morgaroth stay in diagonal position and less summoned Demons attack him. This is a dangerous technique if Morgaroth retarget shoters, the knight can get surrounded by demons, making him unreachable to Morgaroth, consequently Morgaroth will keep attacking shoters.
On nom-pvp worlds usualy a group of players try to help Morgaroth kill the knight, making a line of magic walls betwen blocker and shoters so blocker can't receive extra-heal and end up dieing. There are 2 ways to avoid that, one is a group of high level knights stay in all squares betwen shoters/healers and the blocker, the other is a big group of druids cover the area betwen blocker and shoters with Trees. This techniques can easyly fail if the Trees desapear and someone shot a Magic Wall it will prevent the bloker receives heals, while a big group of knights might lure morgaroth to near shoters making they receive damages and having to go up to heal thenselfs.
The safe way is a second group or 1 or 2 knights go south the stairs and protect Druids or Sorcers while they heal the blocker from a different position. |
