Players get exhausted if they try to cast spells, runes or use potions in succession. In the case of spells and runes you will see a smoke puff on your character when you're exhausted.

These are the forms of exhaust:

  • Offensive spells and runes cause exhaustion for 2 seconds when casting other offensive spells and runes, but not to defensive ones.
  • Defensive spells cause a 1 second exhaust to other defensive spells and runes, but not to offensive ones.
  • Defensive runes cause a 1 second exhaust to potions and other defensive spells/runes, but not to offensive spells/runes.
  • Potions cause a 1 second exhaust to other potions and to runes, but not to instant spells.

For example;

  • If you use energy strike you will have to wait 2 seconds before you can use it again. You can however still use for example light healing during the 2 seconds.
  • If you use HMM you will have to wait 2 seconds before you can use another one. You can however still use for example light healing during the 2 seconds.
  • If you use light healing you will have to wait 1 second before you can use it again. You can however use for example energy strike during the 1 second.
  • If you use IH you will have to wait 1 second before you can use another one, or for example a mana potion. You can however use for example energy strike during the 1 second.
  • If you use a mana potion you will have to wait 1 second before you can use another one, or for example a HMM.
