Crystal Spider

1250 hit points
900 Experience points per kill

Summon/Convince: --/-- (Creature Illusion is not possible)
Abilities: Melee 0-250 It poisons you 8hp/turn, Ice Missile 50-100, Paralyzing Ice Bomb, Paralyzing snowball, Haste.
Est. Max. Damage: 358 hp per turn
Immune To: Fire Damage, Ice Damage, Paralysis and Invisibility, Drunkenness.
Strong Against: Earth Damage (-20%)
Weak Against: Energy Damage (+20%)
Sounds: "Screeech!"
Behavior: Crystal spiders chase their enemy down and fight until death. Changes target frequently.
Field Notes: They are similar to Giant Spiders, but have less attack power and more defense. You should be careful with them since they're found most times in groups and in small places, also they paralyze you very often, making it hard to keep distance.
Location: Atop Formorgar Glacier peaks and deep inside Formorgar Mines.
Strategy: Watch your step! They are located in smaller areas along with Wyverns and Ice Golems, so you may have trouble outrunning them. Strike hard and fast with a knight blocking and have paladins or mages attacking with offensive spells to dispatch it quickly. Soloing them on a knight can be risky. On a mage; you should rush in and kill them as fast a possible. On a paladin; keep as much distance as you can and use Ethereal Spear a lot so they die quickly, and you don't have to run into other spawns.
Loot: 0-95 gp, 0-7 Sniper Arrow, Brass Legs, Steel Helmet, Plate Armor, Ice Cube, Strong Mana Potion, Crystal Sword (semi-rare), Glacier Mask (semi-rare), Shard (semi-rare), Time Ring (semi-rare), Knight Armor (rare), Knight Legs (rare), Platinum Amulet (rare), Sapphire Hammer (very rare)
