Counsellor

A counselor was an ordinary player "considered as a trustworthy person and experienced adventurer" appointed by Gamemasters to be their assistants. Their job was to investigate and report violations of the Tibia rules to the gamemasters, as well as to try to help new players and answer questions about gameplay.
They were removed and replaced with Senior Tutors during the summer of 2006.
However, unlike Senior Tutors, Counselors had a certain amount of power and authority within Tibia. In addition to being able to answer Rule Violation reports (Given by players in-game by pressing Control+R). Counselors could also issue a 24 hour banishment of a players account. The most notable difference, however, was the ability to answer rule violation reports, this allowed a much larger coverage across Game Worlds for violation reports, and helped to reduce the workload on Gamemasters.
