Bonelords are an enigmatic species that live mostly underground. They are easily recognizable by the multiple eyes they have attached to tentacles.
Bonelords are very wise but have no respect for the intelligence of humans or other creatures. They speak a language called 469, which is comprised entirely of numbers, and it has never been decyphered by any other race.
Bonelords have some knowledge of necromancy, but they haven't mastered the art as well as other Necromancers. In spite of this fact, they have other powerful magic abilities that they use to assault their enemies.
The name was changed from Beholders to Bonelords (8.61 client update) for legal reasons: it strongly resembled beholders from Dungeons and Dragons. A comical news article hinted toward this, "Some wizards of the coast of a remote kingdom full of dungeons and dragons suddenly appeared on the Tibian shores. ..."
All Killable Bonelords have a weakness to Fire Damage. In addition, Braindeaths have a weakness to Holy Damage.
