Most necklaces are for decoration, while amulets will generally affect the user in some way.

It's said that it increases the chance to get rare loot, but it was shown to be false, because the loot is created when the creature spawns, and not when it dies.
Reduces Fire damage by 8%, the damage reduction is rounded up to the nearest whole number. It has 200 charges.
Looks the same as Jerom's Family Necklace.

This item can be seen in upper floor of Tibian Explorer Society in Port Hope and on Island of Destiny in the druids area. It is most likely not yet obtainable in game. Probably just a decoration piece with no magical powers. It has what appears to be a apes paw on it. Its data can be seen in the Market.
It provides +2 armor, making it much better than a Scarf (though a Scarf is cheaper for lower leveled players). After update 8.41, the Amulet of Loss became nearly useless, making this item favored by players of all vocations.
Scarves don't have any special effects. They increase body armor with 1 armor point. A player who can't afford a Platinum Amulet could wear a scarf. This item can be bought in Edron by premium players and sold for much higher prices to a Free Account (who is unable to travel to Edron to buy his own). It is also possible to get them at the daily spawn inside a corpse that you can reach by entering the Desert Dungeon and going all the way down and then in the room with the Spiders all the way up. You see a Poison Spider and a corpse with a Book, a Rope, a Shovel, a Leather Armor, Leather Boots, a Torch and a Backpack.
Prevented loss of all items, levels and skills. All of these amulets were turned into Broken Amulet in the 7.2 Update. The closest replacement for this amulet is the updated version of it, the Amulet of Loss.
Prevents item loss caused by dying, but breaks upon dying. Since update 8.41 buying all blessings gives the same functionality as wearing the Amulet of Loss. It does not work on red skulled and black skulled players. In this case it breaks and is not lootable.
Premium players can sell them to Free Account players who can not get all five blessings, for a higher price, because only Eremo sells them. They can be bought and looted on Hardcore PvP game worlds since Update 8.53.
This amulet replaced the Amulet of Life, which would shield both skills and items from loss.
Reduces fire, earth, ice, energy, death, holy and physical damage by exactly 5%, rounded up to the next whole number. It has 50 charges. This amulet is good to wear in environments where you receive several different types of damage.
It has 750 charges. The resistances and charges on this item make it very attractive, but one major drawback is the prevalence of poisoning monsters - poison damage will be blocked, wasting charges. The other necklace, Prismatic Necklace, has physical/energy resistance instead and may be an alternative purely for the physical resistance. Still, it is a useful necklace and quite affordable with the popularity of warzones (mostly on optional PvP servers). Click Here to Show/Hide Spoiler Information

It's said that it once belonged to Koshei the Deathless, the curious. Provides 2 squares of weak green light. Most keep it as the death protection is valuable because not many items have it without having a limited amount of charges.
It has 200 Charges. Part of the Lightning set. You can use them if looted while hunting wyrms until they have few charges because even then you can still sell them to Rashid. You have to be careful because earth damage also drains charges of it, so if you are poisoned you can run out of charges very fast.
It has 50 charges. Consider using this item for quests like Annihilator as the strongest attack of the demons (Great Energy Beam variant) deals Life Drain damage.
Reduces earth damage by exactly 10%, rounded up to the nearest whole number. It has 200 charges. The earth damage animation is replaced by a spark animation if the damage is reduced to 0.
Reduces physical and death damage by exactly 80% rounded up to the nearest whole number, it has 5 charges. This amulet only reduced death damage up until the Update 8.4. The spell conceived to the stone skin was not learned by any mage, using the stoneskin used to paralyze people, turning them into stones. So the scholars of Ankrahmun decided to embed that spell in an amulet, instead.
