Amazons

Amazons are a group of woman head-hunters. They are not cannibals, they simply seem to keep their victims' heads as trophies. All kinds of amazons are skilled distance fighters and they are fond of gems and jewelry. They will defend their homes with great ferocity.
Their largest camp is located in the Green Claw Swamp near Venore, it is the Venore Amazon Camp, and they do not stray very far from here except to raid nearby human settlements to the north-west. They very rarely will travel through the swamp.
There seems to be some relationship between amazons and witches, since they appear to trust one another, but this has not been substantiated, and is certainly not fully understood.
